CHESMISTRY // BIOLOGY // NATURE

Linking organic chemistry, aspects of biology and nature in the formation of the shapes, illustrates how the natural world forms in a very structural way. All seems fluid and uneven from far away, but closer observation proves the importance of the geometric structures of our natural world at its core.

Deeper insight into organic compounds to reveal this structure emulates the way the shapes in the work of art are explored. When looking into the mirror surface, one sees the basic structure, only then to reveal their own mentally and physically constructed image in return. The many planes of mirror prove hard to focus on all at once, and can become overwhelming. Similarly, chemistry and biology reveal the nuances of structures of the world, but the whole image comes together from far away.

Looking closely as well as seeing the bigger picture draws two different aspects into focus, and ultimately, knowing both aspects leads to fuller understanding of the surrounding world.
