Around the Studio

Shapes in my studio.

The hexagons have grown in the environment of my studio for now, continuously expanding over my wall, growing like a fungus. This natural growth has elevated my understanding of the shapes and only makes me want to take them further.

The studio acts as a testing ground for the shapes to exist and develop,

but now it is time to venture out into the great unknown.

Invading spaces is a key aspect to the shapes.

They already make you reevaluate the space and your interaction, but now it is time to stumble upon them naturally and in nature.

The contrast of the man-made geometry and the natural geometry and structure of the outdoors draws attention to the shapes and their surrounding environment.

This is where the shapes in their simple existence cause the viewer to reexamine theirs.

Onward and OUTward.
